Meet Lucy (and Dave the SCOBY)

Lucy started brewing because she simply liked Kombucha, and wanted to have an unlimited supply on tap!

"I got my starter kit as a birthday gift and have been brewing since August 2024".

"How has the Kombucha brewing process been?"

"Much easier than I thought.

I had heard nightmares of exploding bottles etc. 

I was worried it would be time consuming, like sour dough but but this process is so easy, it takes no time at all."

"Who drinks the Kombucha, and have you got any favourite recipes to share?"

"My husband and I drink it first thing most days. I also like it mixed with cold fizzy water as a longer drink.

I have experimented with flavours adding fruit after brewing and also some home made elderflower cordial which was sublime (recipe for this coming soon!).

We call it Dave, it's like having an alien in a jar ☺️"
