Refund and Returns Policy
Before returning any items, or if you have any questions about your order, please contact us as soon as possible on guru@boochacha.co.uk
Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Returns at cost of customer unless item faulty.
See below to check which products are eligible for a return;
Kombucha Starter Kits - Must be returned unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and be within its expiry date.
Kombucha Brew Bags - Must be returned unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and be within its expiry date.
Any Item Including Fresh Kombucha - Cannot be returned. If you are unhappy with the product, please email us and explain why.
Event Tickets - No refunds.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Items with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 3 to 7 of days.
Late or missing refunds
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
- If you’ve done all of this, and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at guru@boochacha.co.uk.
Sale items
- Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email us at guru@boochacha.co.uk to arrange. You will need to return the item to a UK holding address before replacement sent out.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.
Shipping Returns
To return your product, you must contact us at guru@boochacha.co.uk first.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are returning more expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

By purchasing a subscription product, you agree to the terms below.
How Subscriptions Work
Some of our products are available as subscriptions. When you choose a subscription, your order will automatically renew at the selected frequency (for example, weekly or monthly).
Your payment method will be charged at the time of each renewal unless you choose to cancel or modify your subscription.
Managing Your Subscription
You can manage your subscription at any time through your customer portal, powered by Seal Subscriptions.
Through your portal, you can:
Skip a delivery
Change your delivery schedule
Update your products
Update your shipping details
Cancel your subscription
You will receive a link to access your portal after your first purchase and in your subscription-related emails.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time via your customer portal.
You will be reminded via email 3 days before your next subscription is being processed.
To avoid being charged for your next order, please cancel at least 48 hours before your next billing date.
If a renewal has already been processed, the order may not be cancelled.
Skipping and Changes
You can skip or modify upcoming orders through your portal.
Changes must be made at least 48 hours before your next billing date to take effect.
Payments
All subscription payments are processed automatically using your selected payment method.
If a payment fails, we may attempt to process it again. If payment is not successful, your subscription may be paused or cancelled.
Delivery
Subscription orders are subject to our standard Shipping Policy.
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary.
Refunds
Subscription orders are treated the same as one-time purchases.
Once an order has been processed, we may not be able to cancel or refund it.
